These terms govern your use of devabdulrazzaq.com (the "Site") and any informal communication you initiate through it. They do not govern paid engagements — paid Shopify development work is covered by a separate written agreement signed before work begins.
1. About this site
This Site is owned and operated by Abdul Razzaq, a freelance Shopify developer based in Lahore, Pakistan. It is a personal portfolio and contact channel — not a SaaS, marketplace, or e-commerce store.
2. Using the site
You may browse the Site, download any freely offered resources (such as the Shopify checklist sent via email), and contact me using the forms provided. In exchange, you agree:
- Not to use automated scrapers, scanners, or bots against the Site beyond what is allowed in robots.txt
- Not to attempt to access non-public areas of the Site or its underlying systems
- Not to submit content through the contact form that is unlawful, defamatory, or designed to harass
- To provide accurate information when filling out forms
3. Intellectual property
All content on this Site — including written posts, case studies, code snippets, design, and graphics — is owned by Abdul Razzaq unless otherwise attributed. You may:
- Quote short passages with attribution and a link back
- Share links to the Site freely
- Use code snippets published on the blog in your own projects unless explicitly marked otherwise
You may not:
- Republish full articles or case studies without written permission
- Use case study content to claim association with the clients featured
- Train AI models on Site content without explicit permission
4. Engagement enquiries are not a contract
Sending an enquiry, booking a call, or having a conversation does not constitute a binding work agreement. A project agreement only exists when a written scope-of-work / statement-of-work is signed by both parties and a deposit (where applicable) is received.
5. Case studies and testimonials
Case studies on this Site describe real engagements with real clients. Names, logos, and specific outcomes are published with the client's permission. Numbers (revenue, conversion lifts, etc.) reflect the situation at the time of the engagement and are not guarantees of similar results for other clients.
6. No warranty on free content
Blog posts, case studies, FAQs, and the Shopify checklist are provided "as is" for educational purposes. While I aim for accuracy, e-commerce platforms change quickly. You apply this information at your own risk and should validate against current Shopify documentation before making production changes.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Abdul Razzaq is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, including loss of revenue, data, or business opportunity. Maximum aggregate liability under these terms (for free content / informal contact) is capped at PKR 0 — because no commercial transaction takes place via the Site itself.
This clause does not limit liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
8. Links to external sites
This Site links to third-party properties (Shopify documentation, client storefronts, Calendly, Upwork, Fiverr, LinkedIn, etc.). I do not control those sites and am not responsible for their content, policies, or availability.
9. Changes to these terms
I may update these terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page will reflect any change. Continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. Any dispute arising from your use of the Site that cannot be resolved amicably will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.
For paid engagements, a separate jurisdiction clause may be specified in the project agreement.
